Prof. K.M Paraskevopoulos has been the lab's director since 2000.
He has published more than 300 papers in international scientific journals and more than 350 articles in international and national conferences. His paper's citations exceed 2400 the last five years and he has an h-index of 29.
He has supervised 6 doctoral theses and more than 60 master's and undergraduate theses.
He has been the coordinator of more than 19 scientific funded projects and contributed in more than 20 other projects as a researcher.

Prof. Konstantinos Chrissafis is currently the President of Physics Dept. in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
He is also the President of Greek Society for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry.

Assoc. Prof. Dimitrios Bikiaris is the director of Organic Chemical Technology Laboratory in Chemistry Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Assoc. Prof. Th. Kyratsi
Dr. Theodora Kyratsi is Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department at University of Cyprus. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics, M.Sc. in Physics of Materials and Ph.D. in Physics and Materials Science from Department of Physics in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Before she joined UCY, she was researcher at the Department of Chemistry in Michigan State University, USA. She has been responsible for the development of the Powder Technology Laboratory at the UCY since 2004. Today, her research activities include synthesis of energy-related materials, thermoelectric materials, nanomaterials and nanocomposites, powder technology – ball milling, consolidation techniques, material optimization, doping, thermal treatments, solid solutions, characterization and properties.
