Prof. K.M Paraskevopoulos has been the lab's director since 2000.
He has published more than 300 papers in international scientific journals and more than 350 articles in international and national conferences. His paper's citations exceed 2400 the last five years and he has an h-index of 29.
He has supervised 6 doctoral theses and more than 60 master's and undergraduate theses.
He has been the coordinator of more than 19 scientific funded projects and contributed in more than 20 other projects as a researcher.

Prof. K. Chrissafis
Prof. Konstantinos Chrissafis is currently the President of Physics Dept. in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
He is also the President of Greek Society for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry.
He has published more than 135 papers in international scientific journals and more than 100 in International/National conferences.
He has been the coordinator of 7 funded research projects.
He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific hournal "Thermochimica Acta" and he is also a reviewer for 26 international scientific journals.
